Help students learn vocabulary faster When studying a foreign language, vocabulary acquisition is one of the number one items that occupies students’ time. With dynamic, interactive activities, WordChamp makes it easy for students to learn and practice the vocabulary they need to succeed in a language, in their own time.
Receive immediate feedback WordChamp tracks performance at both a class and a student level, saving you time you might have spent grading papers, and providing you valuable information to use when planning your next class. Scroll to the Track Performance section of this document for more information on tracking performance.
Student enrollment fees There is a US $12.50 fee for students to enroll in a class created by a teacher through the Course Management system. This fee is waived for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Language Drills WordChamp provides an easy authoring tool for you to create any number of interactive language activities for your students: reading practice, listening comprehension, dictation, translation, pronunciation, picture and verb drills. You can also easily add pictures and audio to your activities, or find and edit activities created by other teachers to use with your own students.
Cloze / Fill-in-the-Blank / Multiple Choice / True-False You can easily create cloze drills, fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, and true/false quizzes for your students. All drills are automatically graded, and all student answers are stored (including multiple tries, if you set the assignments up to allow them), making it easy for you to see where students are having trouble.
Dialogues The homework authoring tool lets you set up a dialogue quickly and easily. Use these to set up a lesson, introduce grammatical concepts, or give students a fun change of pace.
Videos and Readings You can easily set up readings for your students, or assign videos for them to watch. With the WordChamp Web Reader (an easy-to-use traveling dictionary) you can assign students longer, and more interesting authentic texts to read earlier.
Using WordChamp, it's possible to track a wide variety of information about your students' progress:
