WordChamp has been designed specifically as an aid for language teachers. Whether you teach a classroom full of students or just one student, whether you want your students to stay entirely in the target language or translate, practice conjugations or reading, use pictures or practice pronunciations, WordChamp gives you the tools you need to help your students succeed.
In order to get started using the Course Management system, we recommend following the steps below.
You can create a class by logging in, going to your home page and clicking the "Create Class" button. Once you have set up a class, you will be able to create interactive homework assignments, and invite students to join (see steps 2 and 3).

There are over twenty different activity types you can assign to your students, each of which can be easily created by using an activity creation wizard. Click here to see a list of the different activity types.

Every class has a unique "invitation code" which students can use to join. You can print out a page explaining to your students how to sign up for each class by going to the class's page and clicking on the button titled "print student instructions".

From the class page, you can easily see which of your students are completing their homework, who is having trouble with which assignments, and where the class as a whole is struggling.

It's easy to copy homework from one class to another, so you can create multiple sections or prepare for a new semester with just a couple of clicks. Many of our teachers have been using us for years, and we've made it easy to repurpose old homework assignments for new classes.

Setting up and managing classes using the Course Management system is FREE for teachers. Students are asked to pay an enrollment fee of $12.50 per semester for joining a class and accessing homework. This fee is waived for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Click on Student Enrollment Fees below for more information.
